A non-profit organisation giving free assistance to unwanted babies and their mothers in Bloemfontein, South Africa

Born on May 9, 2010, Shiloh was abandoned and left alone between trash bags in the city of Bloemfontein, South Africa. The unknown mother simply discarded the beautiful, little new born baby for reasons no one can fathom.

Founded by a homeless man and brought to the closest house, the helpless baby girl was rushed to hospital. Unfortunately she passed away three days later, but Shiloh Zoé Hope’s life and death will not be in vain.

In her short life of three days, Shiloh managed to touch and open the hearts of many, mobilizing them to help others like her.

Life is a miracle, a precious gift and although the circumstances surrounding a birth may not always be perfect, the result is a new life- a new beginning.

We all make mistakes, but how we react on them is what is making the difference!

Two babies have been saved due to the Protocols and working agreements that were set in place, after Shiloh's sad ordeal and untimely death. Both baby Mpho Hope ( 12 April 2011) and Caleb Hope (24 September 2011) survived abandonement and are doing exceptionally well. Shiloh is the Hero in all of this.
